Side Effects of Methenolone Enanthate
Methenolone Enanthate is an effective steroid and is highly popular among body builders and athletes. By using methenolone enanthate, the user gains quality muscle mass. The gains produced by Methenolone enanthate are not rapid rather it initiates a slow buildup of quality muscles so that the body gets a dense ripped look. Methenolone enanthate is popular among users because it does not aromatize and thus the estrogen related side effects associated with aromatization such as fat deposition, Gynocomastia and water retention do not happen with methenolone enanthate. In women, Virilization occurs due to the use of steroids but with methenolone enanthate, the chances of virilization are pretty low. However, estrogen related activities and Virilization only remain under control if the user does not take steroids more than the recommended dosage. The recommended dose for men is around 400mg per week but it can be extended up to 600 to 800 mgs per week without raising the bar on the side effects too high. Women must follow the prescribed dosage of 50 to 100mgs per week if they want to remain safe from virilization. In Virilization, females acquire the masculine traits; their voice deepens, they develop an abnormal facial hair growth and excess hair appears on their body too. The breasts of women become smaller and their menstrual cycle is disrupted too, it either becomes infrequent or ceases altogether.
General Side Effects of Methenolone Enanthate
The users of methenolone enanthate have complained of bitter taste in the mouth and swelling of tongue, lips and face. Swelling in legs and feet is also common with the use of methenolone enanthate.
The user experiences general fatigue and often suffers from mood swings. Depression, anxiety and irritability are some mood swings the user goes through. Change in sexual drive is also a side effect of methenolone enanthate. The male users may also go through frequent and painful erections. Problems in urination are also a side effect of methenolone enanthate.
Other side effects of methenolone enanthate are headaches, hair loss, oily skin and acne. These side effects occur because methenolone enanthate converts to DHT through 5-alpha reductaze enzyme which in turn causes skin and scalp problems in the user. The skin side effects are acne and oily skin. Acne occurs because methenolone enanthate stimulates the sebaceous glands present under the skin and makes them overactive. The secretion due to the sebaceous glands is called sebum which is an oily film. Too much sebum under the skin causes acne. Hair loss is one big side effect of methenolone eanthate and those who already are suffering from male pattern baldness should avoid this steroid at any cost.
Change in Gonadotrophic Level
Methenolone enanthate can lower the gonadotrophic level. Hypogonadism is the condition in which the gonadal organs; testes in men and ovaries in women cease to function properly. Testes and ovaries produce hormones which are required for fertility and other functions. Testosterones are produced by testes while the ovaries produce estrogen and progesterone. In hypogonadism the production of hormones from these organs decreases. The major side effect of methenolone enanthate is that it reduces the natural production of hormones in the body.
